  1. About the compound change. I think the main difference right now lies in the fact the surface area a team needs to hold has increased and dropping into a compound from the heli is, I feel, much easier. I also think it's more fun this way with the more complex layout. But I agree, pushing from outside of it by foot hasn't changed a whole lot.

    I think OCE players will always have a difficult time in smaller games. I think the best thing you can do when OCE servers are low on population is play on Asian servers. If they're located in Hong Kong you should have about the same ping as a central-european playing on an american east coast server.
  3. Its not terrible. Its just that the AR-15 is now the go to gun on range and SMG's dominate short range. So in my experience from playing today mid-rarity bracket weapons are now least viable.

    Thats not exactly right. I feel like the AR-15 is now more viable on range than G36 or Scar-L while SMG's are more viable on shorter ranges. This means that weapons in the mid-rarity bracket are now least viable. Atleast thats what I'm making of it ATM. Don't see why i personally would take a Scar or G36 when i can just take an AR.

    It is truly sad you need to resort to trying to trigger me into giving you some sad reaction. But you're not the first, nor the last trying this. Wether or not my attitude towards you is arrogant is irrelevant to the discussion, you are trying to make me look bad by saying i did and do things i never have. I don't expect a guy who thinks he knows me from a bunch of games i never played to know whether or not i got ripped. You're a sad person. I will end our discussion here. I would not want you to make more of a fool of yourself.

    Based on the fact you're saying i played 3 games i did not play and construct your argument around the absense of 'pro' solo posts on their respective forums means you do not know me. The one game on your list i did play, shattered skies, i did make several posts to the benefit of solo players as i played solo in it quite a bit myself. In essence thats exactly what i did here too, by requesting shields and defending insta meds. You just don't see it that way, because like i said, you do not understand the games mechanics and the nature of these types of games. And thats fine. You are argueing from a possition of ignorance. Thats noones fault. But to try and attack my reputation with a bunch of falsehoods is just sad .
  9. This is what I mentioned earlier. They should offer beginner server access, not force it. It would be really bad to have new players in empty servers and even worse, it kills mouth to mouth advertisement as new players wouldn't be able to play with their friends.

    You can peek, two tap a guy in the head while taking damage from their teammates in return and med up quickly. Can also two tap a guy while pushing as a solo taking damage in return and med up quickly to be able to deal with the rest of their team. Of course in order for that to be a thing you need to be able to hit heads. If you can't make that happen you shouldn't get the kill. Rewarding people for potatoaiming is simply stupid. What you suggest makes the solo player a sitting duck that can, for the duration in which he has to sit still to med, not defend himself making flanking a breeze for the grouped players. Also, seeing how easily you can get caught of guard by people standing behind trees I think it's only fair that you should be able to med and find cover. That is if they miss and don't double dink you. If their aim is fully on point you will be killed. I think there should be more ways to counterplay, like barricades. I am all for making it easier on solo's. But as mentioned before. Your suggestion makes it only harder for them. Barricades and quick meds are the way to actually help the solo player. My posts reflect that mindset. I did not play in groups non stop in the past, and don't do now. However it is true I will at least be duo most of the time. I also wasn't active in every single game you mentioned. Only in one of the '4' of em. You might wanna stop talking out of ur ass. Your post displays a great lack of understanding about the games mechanics. Try DayZ or something. A game that focuses on sitting in a bush for hours on end to eventually snipe one guy and call it a day. Clearly that is the gameplay you are after. Let this game be its own thing. That's all I have to say.

    Your second point about meds would make the game easier for the camping/defensive player and large groups while in your third point (with which i do not agree) you claim to want to make it harder on groups. Sorry but wat.

    After playing for a while now i noticed theres currently no way for weapons to leave the ingame economy. So unless im missing something, how are weapons supposed to leave the ingame economy?

    If loot loses durability on death it only takes a few UI tweaks for it to look organised. You could for example click the gun you want to take out and when you do a menu shows up showing you the different tiers of durability available in your GI. It would only have to be 5-10 durability levels. Way more loot would come in than leaves which means the issue remains.
  16. An option to choose between beginner and regular servers for the first X amount of playtime could help. Whats important is that theres the abbility to choose though. We wouldn't want new players to be stuck in empty servers. Spawn rates could be different there.

    I think the issue would be biggest with rare guns, yes. What i meant to say was that normally speaking the rarest guns are the ones players should have least of. Unless ofcourse theyr starting to hoard them without using them. Maybe i shouldve put it differently like the rarer the gun the lower the chance you encounter players using it in pvp.

    I'm not specifically worried about about snipers and AK. What I'm worried about is the 'order of rarity'. Obviously spawnrates are set to a certain number so that one gun is more rare than the other. I assume the intention is that the spawnrates are reflected in the players GI.

    As i mentioned before. Thats not an option. We are trying to avoid weapons like the snipers or AK's being the only guns people play with because there would be so many of them going around in the ingame economy. Players will not 'recycle' the best guns in the game unless they have so many of them they are starting to remove them from their GI to make room for meds or something else they deem to have more value than what are currently the rarest guns in the game. If you let this go on long enough we could end up with a can of beans that has more value than your AK as beans are a consumable item and thus do leave the ingame economy. Your recycling idea can't work as a replacement to the durability system. Ofcourse if better ideas come up its worth looking at them too. But breaking down your items into scrap isn't one of them. The only other option i can think of myself right now is regular wipes. But I don't think that would be fun at all.

    No, i'd like camping to be less viable and also stop these staring contests (since noone wants to push as its puts them in, as mentioned earlier, a huge disatvantage) from happening. Positioning and 'patience' will still pay off as you get to open the first shot and double dink the guy of off the server. But should you miss, he has opportunity to counterplay. Basicly this just means theres counterplay potential. Its not fun nor is it really possible to check every single tree in the forest because someone might potentially be waiting behind them... Shields wouldn't tank a lot of bullets so they are only really usefull for pushing up, not for holding down a position. It will also benefit the solo player more as it allows them to get more 1v1 engagements when fighting a 4 man. Trees need to be more thicc, agreed. I'm not sure what you're trying to say here. That shields will also result in a 3rd person stand off? That shouldn't be the case. It wasn't in SS or AM (didn't play WarZ, I:SS).

    Lets just agree to disagree about the helmet. 'Fine for the time being' isn't going to cut it. If this game is to last, something has to be done to get guns out of the economy (not at the players choice).
