AirborneLawnDart 12 Posted June 3, 2019 Yeah, we had a blatant ESP hacker today. I had some hostile time left so I hid in a bush in the safe zone. Low pop server. My buddy went in first, said there were two guys in there. They ran out, down hill, over some rocks, and shot straight into the bush I was in. They did not see me at any time. Both of them ran directly at my bush, and shot me dead in the face. It was not render distance, they ran straight out of the settlement directly to where I was sitting. If they got their hands on the cheats themselfs they could code it to detect such but we'll have to wait and see. Also, that fucking attitude about it. Doesn't bode well for release, and honestly already puts this game way down on my list of things to keep playing. And the now the alpha community is dropping Fbomb laden forum posts? If that's true they really need to fix that....lol They didn't have a drone up. They were using the vendor, saw my buddy enter the area, and immediately ran straight to me. Also I was well outside drone range. I was at least 200 meters from the vendor, covered by both trees and bushes. Right at the edge of the safe zone. Who cares about somebody doing crazy shit in BF, COD or even CS. In these type games having cheaters is absolutely fatal for the entire gameplay and cheaters have been the downfall of every single one of these games released earlier. What worries ME a lot, is that there is seemingly very little done to protect this game from cheats, as most (if not all) gunplay/movement is handled pretty much solely by the client and not coordinated with the servers. This makes the game nice to play because of decent FPS and low lag even at high ping, but it makes it almost impossible to create effective anti cheat.
